I tend to read ebooks in dark mode, in the Kindle app specifically. One thing that always bugs me is whenever there is a special symbol or ornament in the text that has been inserted as an image - it nearly always displays as a black symbol with a white background, which works great if you use light modes, but looks awful the way I prefer to read books.
So, when formatting my own works, is there a way to a) target night/dark/sepia/ect. modes in the Kindle app, or any of the Kindle devices (I've read you could do this in old iBooks), and b) would it then work to use invert() in the CSS?
