On the Wikipedia page for DjVu, it is stated that

PDF primarily encodes graphics and text as vectorised data, whereas DjVu primarily encodes them as pixmap images

The use of the word "primarily" here suggests that vector formats are supported (unless there is another option besides bitmap and vector I'm not aware of), but that it's not a prominent feature.

Is it possible to use vectorized text and images in DjVu? If so, are there limitations to this support, or is its lesser use due to other reasons (e.g. DjVu possibly being used primarily for scanned documents)?
