The Fowl Twins is the first novel in Eoin Colfer's The Fowl Twins series, a spin-off and continuation of the Artemis Fowl series and second cycle of The Fowl Adventures, following Myles and Beckett Fowl, the younger twin brothers of criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl II. The Fowl Twins was released 5 November 2019 by Viking Press and Disney Hyperion, promoting the then-upcoming Artemis Fowl film adaptation for Disney+. The novel was well-received by critics, with reviews comparing its quality and success to that of the original series.

Plot
Myles and Beckett Fowl are twins but the two boys are wildly different.One day, they are left by themselves with their house security system NANNI.A shrink wrap is fired by Lord Teddy Bleedham Drye who is seeking eternal life and is currently 150 years old. He tries to take a troll who's venom can give eternal life. Beckett takes the troll, thinking it's a toy and the house goes into defense mode and fires an EMP. Meanwhile, Lazuli Heitz, a mix of a pixie, elf and 5% undetermined, who cannot use her magic uses an egg that cab turn the island invisible, while the twins are taken by a nun named Jeronima.Lazuli joins them without them knowing to save the troll and realizes Beckett has the ability of magically speaking to any living creature. Jeronima is revealed to be working for ACRONYM, an agency made by interconnected governments made to monitor faries and otherworldly creatures after the events of The Last Guardian.Myles and Beckett find out about Lazuli and they work together against ACRONYM and escape. They release the troll which Beckett names Whistle Blower.Whistle Blower instantly bonds with Beckett. The duke and Jeronima work together to kidnap the twins but the duke betrays her and takes the twins to his home.There Myles, seemingly, kills Beckett and Lazuli to work with the duke. Myles betrays the duke and Beckett and Lazuli are revealed to be alive.The duke pushes them to their deaths but Lazuli uses her surfacing magic to save them. Lazuli is in a haze after using her magic and the duke shoots Myles, but Lazuli unkowingly heals him. Beckett activates the dozens of shrink wraps in the Duke's pockets using electricty as Myles said in the book some time before. the duke is crushed and left in the ocean. The ACRONYM agents are mind wiped and relocated. Lazuli becomes the fowl ambassador for faries.The duke is saved by Ishi Myishi.
