: Re: Reading PDFs on Kindle device I have many interesting books and documents in PDF format. Can I read PDFs on Kindle in comfortable way? My concern is, that PDFs are adapted to the print page
You can use the converter that Amazon gives you. Every Kindle device and Kindle app is associated with an email box (like firstname_abc123@kindle.com) and you may allow specific email accounts to send messages with attachments to it.
If you send an email to your Kindle email account and attach a document (.mobi, .doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .xls, .xlsx) it converts and to Kindle format and and it is sent to your device.
If you use convertas your subject it will also convert a PDF to the Kindle format and it allows you to change fonts and manipulate the document as a native Kindle document. If you just send a PDF and use another subject it sends it unconverted to your device.
If you own a Kindle with mobile internet, you can use firstname_abc123@free.kindle.com as destination. In this way the document is synced only via Wi-Fi, saving possible traffic expenses.
